My background.
I have more than 10 years of experience working in the marketing and communications industry, specialising in social media and writing.
I've worked at some of New Zealand's leading media publishing companies, including Fairfax Media, Bauer Media, and Yahoo New Zealand. Over the years I've written for a range of lifestyle magazines and websites, including Good Health & Wellbeing (formerly Good Health Choices), NZ Woman's Weekly, Bride & Groom, TV Guide, and Yahoo New Zealand website.
More recently, I worked as a social media specialist for Bank of New Zealand and Mosh Social Media agency, working with clients including Airbnb, Yale, Love Racing, and Sudima Hotels. During this time, I also worked part-time on the side, helping small business owners grow their social media following and promote their products.
At the start of 2020, I launched my social media and content consulting business. Indiana Burnett Marketing's purpose is to help time-poor small to medium-sized companies increase their brand awareness, grow engagement, and generate sales via social media and copywriting.
