Three ways to prepare your business for the festive season

The festive season is one of my favourite times of the year. The Christmas tree, the festive treats, the cheesy carols. I LOVE it all!

But if you are a small business owner, you’re most likely feeling a mild level of panic as you approach the ‘happiest time of the year’.

Steal my three-step Christmas digital marketing plan below.

🎄 1 | Spring clean your website
Clear up the clutter and ensure your key products, promotions or services are easy to find and check out on your website.

Think of the user experience and make sure your website is mobile-optimised.

Finally, double-check your website copy for typos!

🎅 2 | Make an our of office marketing plan
Don’t get swept up in the festive cheer, and forget to plan social media cover for Christmas and New Year.

Make a plan for who will monitor your business’s social media channels while everyone is out of the office, or consider hiring a contractor to fill in.

🎁 3 | Don’t leave festive campaigns until the last minute
Start planning your Christmas marketing campaign now!

Ideally, you should be launching your campaign in the next few weeks to avoid getting lost in the newsfeed in the final weeks before Christmas.

Launching your digital marketing campaign sooner rather than later also gives you time to warm your audience so they’re primed and ready to buy.
